W7 In the Buff

Hey guys xx

Lets talk a little about the packaging which I have to admit is adorable and so handy.  The eyeshadows come in a tin case which is so reassuring as I know that if I drop it my eyeshadows will be as right as rain. Each eyeshadow palette comes in a different shade palette which is also handy as you can tell which is which.   I have to admit its obvious W7 are making dupes out of the Naked 2 & 3 simply by the shade of the other packaging.

Inside the palette you are greeted by a beautiful selection of neutral shades and also a plastic covering to protect you shadows.  Included is a double ended brush which on one end contains a sponge applicator and on the other end an small flat brush which is perfect for packing on eyeshadows.

This palette as you will see contains 3 mattes and 9 shimmery/satin shades.

So starting with shades
Buff:  This is a very pigmented matte yellow toned shade a perfect base for your look or brow bone shade if you are using alot of shimmer on the lid.
Camel:  This is a nice shimmery gold shade but to be honest I found it less pigmented to Buff.  It is buildable and gives a lovely payoff after building
Sand:  A Lovely champagne near white highlight shade.  This shade is very pigmented with tiny shimmers I love using this as a highlight on the inner tear duct or on the brow bone
Dust:  A Deep shimmery rose gold which is veering towards a coppery gold.  I adore this shade on the lid as it really brings out the green in my eyes.  Hugely pigmented but I have found can be a little chalky so this shade is better patted on the lid for less fall out
Chocolate:  This is another matte shade and as you can see the shade is true to what it looks like in the pan.  A medium brown and a perfect transition shade I also love to use this to blend out harsh lines.  The pigmentation is not a strong as the rest but is again buildable
Topaz:  A Deep shimmery dark brown bronze.  This is hugely pigmented.  You only need a little for this to go a long way.  The only thing I have to say is that it can be a little chalky and you will experience fall out but once your careful there shouldnt be too much mess.
Earth:   A very light golden brown shade quite shimmery but highly pigmented for such a light shade.
Storm:  A deep shimmer grey with a brown undertone to it.  This is highly pigmented a little goes a long way
Silk:  This is a very pigmented pale pinky silver shade a very unique and stunning colour I have never seen anything like it.
Wave:  A beautiful Bronze taupe shade with silver shimmers.  This is less pigmented than expected but buildable
Thunder:  I love this shade. This is a deep dark brown with a purple undertone.  This is so pigmented and yes there will be fall out but I just love it so much its stunning
Onyz:  A Matte Black and surprise surprise a very pigmented jett black I am so thrilled with this shade.

Zoella beauty

Hey guys xx

Read on for pictures and a run down

The range is primarily all about body, pampering and delicious smells|!  It consists of a Blissful Body Mist, Creamy Madly Dreamy Body Lotion, Soak Opera Bath & Shower Cream, Fizz Bar, super cute Let's Glow Candle and two makeup/pencil bags.  The packaging of the whole range is so pretty making any bathroom or dressing table look super cute - with pastel shades, polka dots & Zoe's lovely handwritten logo.

The makeup bags are a great size, perfect for carrying your morning face or for if you're travelling.  The material is also wipeable (if you're prone to mess & spills like I am).  As well as the pink guinea pig bag above, there is also a blue one featuring her eyes.

The same fragrance runs throughout the range and I think it's lovely - very sweet and fruity, but not overpowering in any way.  It contains notes of strawberry, violet, jasmine, vanilla and gardenia which is light and a perfect pick me up fragrance.

Obviously Zoe had full control over the range, from the packaging, design, smells and products she wanted and this is an absolutely fantastic achievement - super proud of her and I can't wait to see what she does next!

Matte eyeshadow

Really good quality and pigment. The colours are amazing. It lasts for long time when applying primer first. It"s very cheap.

Lovely eyeshadows from MUA, smooth textured and they come in nice colors. Good pigmentation and doesn"t crease or come off, if used with a good primer. I purchased a brown shade and I like to use it for contouring aswell as its got no shimmer at all and blends well with foundation. Will definitely buy more, excellent value for money.

How to fix clumpy mascara

Let’s face it, this happens to every tube of mascara over time. The problem is it dries out and then starts to form unattractive lumps. To help prevent this, don’t pump your mascara trying to get more on your wand; you’re basically pumping air into the tube causing it to dry out even faster.

Although mascara should be replaced every 3 to 4 months, I use to replace mine much sooner just because it dries out so fast and creates undesirable results. But, there’s an easy fix for that! Get eye drops and put a couple drops into the tube, and then rub the wand around inside. The Visine softens the mascara liquid, making it apply as if it were a brand new tube!

Being confident about your weight

Hey guys

So we all know who is confident around people and who isn't. Its normally the way she walks around and just looks confident in her own skin. They are some tricks to being this person so just sit back and relax while reading this and you could be someone who is confident about there weight. First of all don't compare yourself to others wherever it be your friends the people on your television, the people you see in the magazines. Forget about the women you see and take a good look in the mirror and be happy with yourself because you are you! Dress different don't always stay in the same old styles that used to work for you but now they don't. Go shopping for new clothes try a new style on you which may make you more comfortable just make sure that these look good on you. Focus on who you are and wear clothes which match your personality not how people want you to look.

Cheek tint vs blush

A cheek stain is a cosmetic product applied to the cheeks to give them a little bit of color. This gives the appearance of a healthy, fresh glow on the face. The product is similar to a more traditional powder blush but is slightly more versatile, natural-looking, and easier to apply. It is a relatively new product, but is quickly becoming a staple in many makeup cases; some cheek stains can double as lip stains as well. Most cheek stains come in a gel or liquid form, and are often water-based, oil-free, and alcohol-free, making them appropriate for all skin types. They may have an included roller or makeup sponge for application, or they may be applied with the fingers or a separate makeup sponge. They are applied to the cheeks in the same manner as a blush, to the cheekbones and blended softly up to the temples. It is a good idea to apply cheek stain onto a cleansed, moisturized face. This type of cosmetic product may be applied alone, or it may be applied on top of foundation that has been spread over the rest of the face. The cheek stain will give the appearance of a slight blush, as if someone just pinched the cheeks. Keep in mind that cheek stains typically look much darker in the jar than they appear on the skin.

There are benefits to using cheek stain instead of powder or cream blush. First, because the product is actually temporarily staining the skin, it lasts much longer. This is particularly beneficial in the hot summer months, as well as for people who have oily skin. Second, cheek stain is less likely to cause blemishes than other types of makeup, because it sits more lightly on the surface of the skin, and does not typically contain pore-clogging ingredients. Finally, because such a small amount of stain is used for each application, the product tends to last for a long time.

Cheek stain may be purchased in department stores, makeup stores, or online. It is typically more expensive than a cream or powder blush. Applying cheek stain can make one look more refreshed and awake, because it brightens the face with a little bit of color. For minimal makeup in the summer, often a combination of cheek stain, mascara and lip gloss, will give a bright, fresh appearance while avoiding the need to constantly re-touch or reapply makeup throughout the day.

Lancome hypnose drama mascara

So I bought this as part of a Christmas season holiday gift pack promotion which came with a mini eye makeup remover , eye kohl and hypnose mascara. I tried the hypnose drama and actually bought it on suggestion from the saleswoman . I actually hated this mascara for the brush being so awkwardly shaped and cumbersome and for getting mascara all over my lids . It gave volume but left my lashes looking spidery and any attempt to apply a second coat made them clump and pieces of lash fiber would break off !!! I forgot about this and bought Mac Haute and Naughty which I loved ! But don't get that in your eyes it burns like hell and also dissolves with watery eyes !!

I returned to my hypnose drama , and what a surprise !!! This time I was able to apply it better and it does give me uber volume for my fine medium length lashes. You have to use the spoon shaped brush first. Then turn it around to brush lashes upwards carefully . However I keep a cottonbud handy for lash smudges ...

Pros :
-Builds volume on wimpy lashes in one stroke to look fake (trust me on this one. I've used low to high end)
-doesn't run or smudge even with watery eyes
-doesn't burn or sting
-no discernable lash loss when removing ... I like to rinse it off with water before using eyemakeup remover to reduce lash fall
-unsure if it's this mascara or the lipocils treatment I'm using when I remember to. But my bottom lashes are much longer than I remember them to be
-good pure black
-no fragrance when wearing it , initially on application it has a weird nose drops scent

Cons:
-if u get it on your upper inner lashline it can transfer to your bottom lashline in the day ... Cottonbud in the morning can prevent this
-can flake but very mildly , talking one or two specs

I just repurchased it a year later , so hopefully
it will work as well !
